"French Flea" of Anoka October Sale Event

A Large Sneak Preview
Good afternoon my dear friends! It is a rainy dreary day in Minnesota, but with the upcoming "French Flea" sale fast approaching, the thought of that is a pick me up for me. These monthly occasional sales seem to come around so quickly for us as vendors, but hopefully you're excited for a whole new look for this months sale. The front of the store is going to be "Paris Apartment" style, of course our interpretation, which is a bit modern with a flair of the unexpected. A few funky treasures thrown in the mix to keep it fun and lively.

This month we have a very good variety of dressers in our shop. These aren't only used in bedrooms my friends, these make a wonderful side table in a dining area, entryway, as well as any other place in the home. How about in the bathroom to hold linens and supplies? Julie was the talented vendor that put her handiwork to this wonderful dresser or sideboard and added a modern twist to it. Truly a one-of-a-kind treasure.
This shabby ivory vanity is gorgeous. Love the Frenchy styling of it.
Peggy another vendor is the creator of this great look.

Funky fish!

A great assortment of desks are in this sale as well as great side tables,
several kitchen table and chair sets, as well as wonderful side chairs.

This great area was a former cash wrap table that was turned into a wonderful display area for small accessories and a great area to showcase them. Julie and Teri created this cool new area.

Love the touch of animal print on footstools, side chairs, pillows and on actual fur vintage pieces brought in and/or created by savvy vendors. Love this new "French Flea" mascot our latest addition to the shop, this vintage dress form Anne acquired.

We are filled to the brim with great white, ivory, black and some grey painted pieces of furniture this month. As you can see, we are stacking things to bring you our customers a wide variety of treasures. The table is one of Anne's wonderful pieces, and I believe the chair is Peggy's.

Love this vignette that Julie created towards the middle of the shop.
So very striking!

Some more fun black furniture. The lower portion is a desk that is Lanette's.

The bottom piece is a wonderful cottage style, Frenchy look or primitive piece that Peggy has found for our mix of offerings. I think this piece fits into a lot of styles and the layers of paint add such great texture to this piece. Truly a one-of-a-kind treasure.
The shelf on top of it was designed and created by Lanette, another of our vendors and has been recreated out of large vintage corbels, vintage hardware hooks and re purposed into this wonderful one-of-a-kind shelf. Some lucky shopper will be going home with this find.

John and Beth brought this wonderful vintage desk with the rope accenting wood trim on it and have this wonderful vintage wooden desk chair featured with it. Love the distressed black on this.
A mixture of vendors items create this area towards the back of the store. Lots of great finds.

Anne is the vendor that found and refurbished this fabulous piece. Sorry guys, but it was with the intent of my jewelry space that this piece was finished like this. She is not for sale, but she will be prettying up the shop for many months ahead in my jewelry area. I just love her! I feel like she was a real gift to me from God, so thank you Anne for finding her, painting her, Julie for your touch to her and grabbing her up for my space. She's perfect!

All items that jewelry are displayed on are displays. I search long and hard to find great displays, so I'm sorry if they aren't for sale. Love the suitcase, burlap, trophy and vintage bathtub claw foot props that I've been able to gather over the course of the last six months.

A new very fun piece of jewelry in gold filigree with my signature pocket watch dial face, and sparrow bird flying in mid air. I just adore birds.

This is the above necklace showing the wonderful filigree vintage beads that I've used to recreate this piece. It is a choker, but has an adjustable length to it.

If you get to the shop, check out this great piece of jewelry that is reversible and can be worn two totally different ways. This wonderful Eiffel tower image behind glass is on this side and a pocket watch face dial is on the reverse side. Now, how cool is that?

Ahhhh! So sorry my friends. The images of jewelry that are lacking are due to a lack of a caffeine fix. lol Actually, I was going next door to have a coffee at the great coffee shop next to the French Flea, and I was rushing a tad too bit, thus the poor quality photos.
This necklace is a wonderfully long style with great vintage glass pearls in the most yummy color for Fall. Again, a great porcelain pocket watch face, an additional vintage focal piece and the treasured Eiffel tower charm dangle, is what this fun piece is created with.
Blurry, but funky style red/grey necklace.
Very fun!

This playful piece is filled with cracker jack treasures,
bingo game pieces and other fun treasures.

Love this piece. It is a bit more at $89, but a wonderful piece. It has many, many hours of time put into the creation of this piece. Lots of details and wonderful treasures abound in this design.

Scottie dog cracker jack charm, lovely vintage beads, rhinestone elements and such.

Details!

Each element has been hand wire-wrapped to the next element.

Very fun and functional necklace closure.

I have these two great detailed necklaces this month at the "French Flea". The shorter one is the necklace described in the previous photos.

Cool vintage pocket watch focal.
Vintage coins.

Vintage bird coin, #140 element and Sterling Silver heart charm.

Fun necklace and get be casual or more dressy.

Displayed on the trophy style urn.

I have a good assortment of funky junk style necklace, button style necklaces
and industrial cash register tag style necklaces for sale at this months sale.

Lori
Lori is one of our newer vendors, but she sure caught on quick and was a very willing listener to what would sell and what she could create into a one-of-a-kind treasure to be sold at the Flea. She designs and sews each one of these "Flea Bags" which she has created exclusively for the shop, and embellishes them with wonderful Fleur De leis, and vintage treasures. She also makes great bulletin boards, inspiration boards, clocks, chair pads, pillows, coasters and a whole wide array of great stuff for the shop.

Lori was recently in a bad car accident and could use some support and cheering up, so be sure to check out her creations, and maybe think now for unique Christmas gifts for that hard to buy person.
